I recently installed Win XP Pro on a laptop that already had Win2000. Now, I
want to delete Win2000 from the hard drive to release storage space. How do
I delete Win2000 without having to format the drive? Thanks.

Hi,

Simply boot WinXP and delete the Win2000 system folders. You can edit
boot.ini to remove the load reference to Win2000 at boot (start/run
C:\boot.ini).
