How much do you think the 8800GTX and the 8800GTS will cost in june? I am thinking about buying a cheap graphics card now and then upgrade sometime in june but i dont know if that will save me money or not. Maybe i save money by buying the 8800GTX now, what do you think?

Edit: I was thinking maybe a 7900GS now and then a 8800GTX in june but i am not sure the 8800GTX will drop an amount equal or more than the price of a 7900GS.

Hmm, where did I put my crystal ball ...

The only thing I would say here is that with the delays to the R600 I doubt that 8800s are going to shoot down in price anytime soon.

I wouldn't expect the GTX's to fall much below $500, if at all. They will probably stay around 500-510, depending on demand and the success of the R600. Right now they are at a premium and with no DX10 out and plenty of power behind current DX9 cards, they are more a luxury than anything. This isn't the case if you play oblivion or something of the sort that actually needs this power. You may get one on rebate from a smaller builder for around $475 after rebate, but it's been awhile since top of the line cards have been under $500 (unless at the end of their life cycle). What you may want to do is wait for the 8900GTX, which will probably pop up this summer as a refresh (die shrink too? idk). It will probably go for the same price as 8800GTX's are going for now, maybe a few $ less but it will perform even better.

I guess the best thing for me right now is to get the 8800GTS 320mb version, i dont have enough money for the 8800GTX right now and i really cant wait until summer for the 8900 because i need a card now.
