Crucial uses Samsung now?

I just purchase some notebook memory and reaize that Crucial uses samsung instead micron like back in the days. I never had problem with Crucial and I considered it slow and reliable ram. Now Crucial has switch to Samsung is it just as reliable?

Crucial gets parts from several different manufacturers including Eplida, Infineon, Micron and yes Samsung. You can specify that you want Micron parts when you purchase your RAM and they will be able to accomodate you, but really it doesn't make any difference which parts are on the module because you get the same lifetime warranty from Crucial.
