Can i put 6gb ram on 32-bit operating system

I am using computer AMD athlon(tm) dual core processor 4600+2.40GHz with system type- 32bit operating system. i want to install expand its RAM from 2GB to 6GB. is it possible with windows 7 ultimate operating system.

You can, but it would be a waste of good ram , because a 32 bit OS will only recognize about 3.25 gigs!

A64 bit OS will recognize all of it !
