hiho,

I have following hardware:

- intel core 2 duo E6400
- XfX 7900 gs 525-M extreme
- Corsair 1GB @ 675 MHz
- Asus Striker extreme MB
- Samsung 320 GB HDD
- LG DVD-drive

I run it with 400W power...

if i use an radeon-grafic-card and an HDD with windows installed, i get the BIOS signal, while loading windows, the PC restarts...

if i use the radeon-card with my empty HDD, nothing happens after POST, not even a little signal from graphic...

if i use the HDD with windows and my 7900, nothing happens...

if i use my empty HDD and the 7900, nothing happens...

I really don't know, what to do...

Sounds like you already knew the answer, my guess is no. However, you didn't say what PSU you had so we could check the specs.

mhh...if i put the 7900 in another computer with 400W power, with E6300, 2X 1GB RAM, 2 X HDD, 2X DVD drive - it works...

does the asus MB needs so many power?^^

No, MB uses very little power and most of that is not on the +12V rails. If you can list the name or model of the PSU we might be able to make sure the power is there and start looking elsewhere. Sounds like you have tried all the parts/combinations.
