Win 2k restarts on logging on to Administrator

I can log on as any Power user/Guest/restricted user but if I log in to
Admin then I get a restart (without warning) before my ADSL adapter has
loaded.Nortons doesn't get time to load either as I am watching the
bottom-right of the screen.

My normal log-on (Power user) works perfectly, nothing seems amiss.
There seems no signs of overheating and the net connection is normal (I'm
using it now).

During a normal logon to admin, the screen has always latched off for a
second before flicking back to normal, it's during this part that the system
restarts. I never understood that relay-switch on/off, it doesn't happen
when logged on as Power user??

Any ideas?

OK, seems sorted now, I installed MBM5 motherboard monitor, and it read
80degC from my CPU. So added a new case fan & the various temps dropped 20
celcius.
No recurrance.
