how do these cards campare to each other. I think the pro is better thent he GT but just to be sure. GT's seem to be a little cheaper.

Go pro its bit faster then gt. If you got the cash go for it. Otherwise gt wil do the job.

They are basically the same card running at different clock speeds - ie PRO is clocked faster than GT.

Correct. Pro usually comes with better cooler hence higher core, mem speeds and pontential higher oc percentage.

Couldnt the GT just be overclocked to the PRO speeds? Possibly if needed, just add a better cooler? Just a thought.
