having a lan party, unsure how to configure network

and i am going to have a lan party. the router is far from the empty room we are going to use.

so i dont need a wire, could i use a comp connected with wifi and wire it to the switch so others will have internet? could you tell me how i can achieve this? thank you in advance

It's would too difficult to connect the switch through a wireless connection (you would a wireless bridge). You're better off running a CAT5 cable from the router to the switch or just assign static IP addresses to all the computers.

Have 1 PC only access the wifi router.

Use the wired NIC on this PC and connect to the switch.

Enable ICS on this PC, sharing the wifi NIC.

You PC will be the router and DNS.
