Hi All,

I'm very new to setting up this VPN site-to-site and was hoping to understand if this is possible.

I will have to create a site-to-site VPN connection from our SonicWALL firewall to another Checkpoint Firewall which does not belong to us but looking at all the examples which i can find through out the internet, it only suggesting the usage of the WAN IP Address of the firewall, following by private LAN IPs.

The opposite has only given me WAN IP Address for their firewall and another WAN IP address of the host server which i will need to have my application server to interacting to.

Would appreciate if anyone can advice if this is possible with only WAN IP Addresses being issued from the opposite.

Thanks in advance

From,
Lance

Hmmmmm...

Well, this raises a question. If the server you need to interact with has a WAN IP address of its own, do you really need a VPN? Why not just access it directly over the internet?
