Time for a (probably) dumb question

So...stupid question trivia time.

Backstory:
I'm working on building a new system (obviously the first one, as otherwise I'd probably know this already :?). Anyway, I'm more overbudget than I'd planned on. Since I already have a decent graphics card (PCIe X800XL-decent, not great) I figured that I could scavenge that and slap it into the new system until I come up with the money for what I really want.

Stupid Question:
The thing is....I'm getting an nVidia 650i Motherboard, and my brain suddenly decided to ask "Can I put this ATI card onto a board with an nVidia chipset?" I don't know the answer, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
