Server processor for gaming.

The Core 2 Duo X6800 has an operating frequency of 2.93 GHz and the Xeon 5080 has one of 3.73 GHz. While these two dual core processors have an equal specification for the L2 cache and for the FSB, couldn't be the Xeon 5080 better for gaming than the X6800? Is this appicable?
Intel couldn't have done a processor whith the Xeon's specification for a desktop computer?

The X6800 will blow the Xeon out of the water. Period. It would not even be close.

What about Woodcrest vs Conroe or Clovertown vs Kentsfield?
