I had a RAID 1 (mirror) setup on an Epox 8KTA3+ with a HPT370 raid
controller (win2k workstation sp4)
and I deleted it in the HighPoint Bios. I thought the system and boot files
would end up on both
hard drives since they were mirrored. I then removed the hard drive from
the secondary master port.
The machine would boot, but not recognize passwords, etc. Reinstalled the
hard drive, win2k installed
it as G: drive, and I could then logon. The Disk Manager now shows status
on the G: drive as system and I can't change the drive letter because it is
apparently the boot drive, as well.
Is there any way to move the boot and system status to the physical C:
drive, so I can remove G: disc. ??
Thanks
Bill
