hello all

i am upgrading a windows 2000 domain to windows 2003 domain. Currently there
is one root domain with two windows 2000 domain controllers. There is only
one child domain with two windows 2000 domain controllers running. There is
also exchange 2003 server running in the child domain environment which is
recently upgraded from Exchange 5.5. I checked through ADSI Edit, the
ms-Exch attributes on the child domain and found the three attributes (which
i have heard generally becomes mangled due to incorrect schema updation) are
listed as

ms-Exch-Assistant-Name
ms-Exch-LabeledURI
ms-Exch-House-Identifier

and there is no attribute i can find starting with "dup" so i wanted to know
if i should just proceed with adprep/forestprep and adprep/domainprep and
then introduce windows 2003 domain controller in the root domain and then in
the child domain or there is any additional step in this regard. The upgrade
will be done by introducing new windows 2003 domain controllers in the root
and child domains and then removing the windows 2000 domain controllers from
root and child domain.

I would like if someone can detailed reply on this
TIA
Ikram
