Hi,

my Sony KDF LCD Projection TV is connected via DVI->HDMI to my PC. In Windows, i run a underscan-corrected 720p resolution (1280x720).

As soon as i start games, they automatically switch to 1080i (1020x1080). This resolution cant be changed ingame, even by games who support widescreen resolutions. My driver version is 91.31. I tried to force a smaller resolution with PowerStrip, but using it, the screen only stays black in games and switches back to 1080i.

Any idea why i cant get any other resolution in games? (Civ4 for example)
