Anyone Ever Tried This?

Just out of curiousity, has anyone ever tried to run two different cards in PCIe slots? I have a crossfire motherboard and was wondering what would happen if I had my x1900gt in the primary slot and a cheap Geforce 6200 in the other slot. I would just stick it in and find out, but its at home while I am at school and would be a pain in my poor mothers rear end to have it sent to me, especially if someone already knows it won't work. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Tom

You can for such uses as multiple monitors.

With proper drivers, they will work fine.

However, putting a X1900GT and a GeForce 6200 in the same sentence, makes my X1900GT very angry.

Yea I mentioned it and I heard a growl coming from inside my case... I'll have to find a PCI card to stick between them so my GT doesn't eat the pathetic little 6200. Well thanks for all the info, what I'll probably do is just load the basic drivers for them both and avoid using extra software, like Catalyst Control Center and whatnot.
