I'm about to purchase a custom-config'd PC and even after exhaustive research of specs and reviews (where available) I just can't decide which PSU is best from my limited pool of choices...

Apevia Beast or Iceberg (both 680W)
Enermax EG565P 535W
CoolerMaster eXtreme Power 600W
Ultra Products XVS 700W
Xion SuperNova 600W
Thermaltake ToughPower 600W

I know these aren't the best out there but I must choose one of these. I also know that at first glance, the Thermaltake may be a consensus #1 pick - but NewEgg reviews are scaring me. Here are my soon-to-be PC specs:

e6600
Asus P5N-E 650i
2GB PC-6400 DDR2800
250GB SATA 7,200 rpm
8800GTS 320mb
18X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER
XP Pro

Good grief, someone help me out please... all of those PSUs seem to have adequate 12v amperage - just don't know which way to go. I won't be doing much if any OCing (at least I don't *think* so) nor will I go SLI, although I do envision upping the 8800GTS when the "time is right".

I would get either the Enermax or the Thermaltake. To bad you cant get an Enermax Liberty, the 620w version (the one i have) is only like $50 more. Between the two the Thermaltake is the way to go.
