Hi

I have a problem with the transitive trust between a
parent and child domain , it verifies OK from the parent
to the chiild ....but when I verify it from the child to
the parent it comes up with a secure channel error with
an access denied, it tries to do a reset with the the
same failure.

It then tries to do a reset on the trust ...it asks for
the password on the other domain I put this Administrator
username and password in and agian it fails with login
failure 'The target account name is incorrect.

I can also see in event viewer an Netlogon event ID 3120
where the machine has failed to authenticate with the
parent domain

hope I can get some help

Atif
