bold headings

I have two identical servers that run the same
applications. On one the headings of the desktop icons and
all applications are bold , on the other they are not. I
have tried changing this via the desktop settings but it
does not change. Does anyone have a reason for this? Could
it be a registry setting and if so what?

Sounds like one of the fonts is missed/corrupted.
The default Windows 2000/XP shell font (for Explorer windows) is Tahoma, and
the default system font (for System Properties, Device Manager etc) is MS
Sans Serif.
