T_CORRUPT blue screen

Hi every now and then I get a blue screen with 'T_CORRUPT' as the main message, anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks

Post the STOP error code. It's near the bottom of the blue screen and will be formatted like below.

STOP: 0x00000000 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I am getting different errors in the blue screens now

That works too. Looks like a driver problem. Did you update or install any drivers before you saw this? If so, try downloading the latest drivers from the manufacturers site and installing those.

Hmm I don't recall installing any specific drivers before this problem started occuring. Any way to try to determine which driver is causing problems?

Your dump files should show what driver is causing this. Here is the info from Microsoft on that topic. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263

There are also 3rd party tools out there that can analyze the dump files but I have not used any so I don't know of any good ones. Maybe someone else can suggest one?

All of those appear to be related to NIC drivers. Update to the latest driver for your NIC. The PFN_LIST_CORRUPT could also indicate problems with your memory.

ok, strange as the laptop is new, can I test the memory with some tool to make sure it's not causing problems?

I also noticed that the problem usually occurs when I am using utorrent to download stuff. Another thing is that utorrent is saving files on an ext3 partition, if that is in some way relevant.

NIC drivers are all updated so they shouldn't be the problem.

It's a legitimate way of sharing files, and I don't think that is the direct reason of these blue screens.

No its not. Torrents are completely illegal unless they are not under copyright production. In that case its okay. But downloading copyrighted ones such as movies or games, then its illegal. Still, they are not recommended.

Yes I know that that's why I said it is a legitimate, the tool is legitimate it depends what you download with it.

Anyway uTorrent is off and I'm having blue screens so I'd like to solve that. Memtest revealed no memory problems, and all drivers seem to be at their latest version. Anything else I can try?

And what do you download with it ?

This can't be a issue with RAM, cause if its that the case, then you'd have BSODs every 5 minutes or so. Could you please upload your minidump files, so we can take a look. The other one, wasn't that good. Make sure to upload your minidump files and not in a text format.

I was downloading Ubuntu via torrent for example, it's usually faster for me.
