what quiet fans to buy

i need one exhaust and one intake fan. both 80mm. both need to be quiet.any suggestions thanks

I've measured the SPLs of many of the quiet fans out there. The quietest 8cm fans I measured are made by SilenX but less expensive fans from Scythe and Zalman are also very quiet. Small fans like 8cm are very noisy but also consider that your CPU and GPU coolers may be big contributors to what you're hearing. If you've got a 4cm fan on your mobo's NB, it could be the loudest of all.

I have and like the 800rpm Scythe S-Flexes. Though you can never go wrong buying Nexxus.

I recently got this fan in the 120mm version. It's quiet and cheap. Looks good too. LINK TO DA EGG I only have one fo these in my comp as an exhaust, and my CPU temp(E6600) is 35 on idle.
