I have a 7600GT AGP card that i will pass on to my younger brother. The Card is still awesome for what he will be needing it for. Just wondering in the future for upgradablilty what motherboard i should get for him. Its currently on a Asus P4S800 MX-SE with a P4 3.2. Is it a better idea to get maybe an ASRock 939Dual with an AMD 64 or don't bother with it?

I would save your beans and get DDR2 compatible boards...

- DDR going away slowly
- Try to find a decent 939 dual core now a days
- EO 2007 or Early 2008 should be very interesting for hardware...

That system should do fine until then... maybe not so pretty in games, but definitley not a slug...
