Hey all,

So with my new build in the works, I'm getting down to the nitty gritty. My latest hang up is that I'm worried about powering the GPU. The specs says that the card needs a 12v rail with 26A and for all my looking, I'm still having a hard time finding a PSU that meets that requirement.

I don't need an 800W monster because I'm only going to be powering a 775 mobo, 1 or 2 HDs, 1 optical drive and a sound card. I'm looking for a ~550W PSU with enough Amps to power everything. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any tips and other thoughts.

Im an Enermax fan, so i would get the 620w Enermax Liberty, although its kindof expensive, and overkill for you system, but it does leave alot of room to upgrade. a 600w OCZ GamerXStream will work fine with an 8800gts as well if you dont want to spend as much.

Thanks mplich. I had read over your post (it definitely should be a sticky) but wasn't sure if each rail had to have the amperage or if the combine amperage had to be high enough. Thanks for the clarification and the awesome thread.
