We have a windows 2000 server in a simple workgroup that wont expand the
printer view in the client end printer setup. There is no active
directory. this is just a production area w2kserver. we are trying to
setup printers on another application server W2K server in the same
workgroup. any ideas or pointers appreciated

Hi,

I would like to know more about this issue

what excatly to try to perform and after that what happens
thus the system hangs or it fires an error
Please give me more information
please look for any .dmp file the system
please let me know where is the location for that file
Please check that after opening the printer folder check the services and
check is your spooler service is running or not
