Hello folks,

I'm completely lost when it comes to memory and what equates to max performance "in game" regarding Timings/Voltage/MHz/Ratio etc..

I have just built this system (see sig) and im looking to push it to 2600MHz at the best performance possible. That said i've had it up on orthos for 7+hours stable at 2667MHz (333X8) with timings 4 5 5 12 v2.1 r1:1 but the comp seemed more responsive with higher memory timings such as 5 5 5 15.

Does anyone know what these timings mean and where the ideal "sweet spot" is I havent got a clue and i've looked everywhere online for a guide to no avail. So I once again turn to Toms and those more knowledgable than myself.

Faster (smaller) timings are better. Check out the Forum sticky, especially the link near the end to the Corsair multimedia presentation.
