Info on the Opteron 1210

Anybody have any experience on overclocking an Opteron Dual Core 1210? Is this a good choice among AMD chips? Thanks for any input.

Yes, I've seen people get theirs to 2.8Ghz. I don't have one, but I do have an Opteron 1212 (it's 200Mhz faster at stock); 2Ghz. I currently have mine at 2.97Ghz at 1.4v and I can go farther, but I need more voltage. These Opterons overclock very well, I don't think you'd be disappointed. If you want to reach the 3Ghz mark, I'd get the 1212 over the 1210. I have successfully booted into Windows at 3.2Ghz (but not completely stable, since I don't feel like giving it the volts...I chose to have my own personal limit)

Are these X2 Opteron's nearly identical to the 939's?

in most cases the opterons perform very similar to their 939 x2 and am2 buddies, only they overclock better so thats why people buy them
