I am currently settting up a mirror on a 2000 Server in which there are 3
disk drives. The 2 original drives and a new installed drive and I am
attemtping to mirro the partitions on both drives to the new disk.
When I do Disk 0 both partitions are mirrored and no problems occurr.
When I do Disk 1 and attempt to mirror the first partition to disk 3 it is
successful but when I attempt to mirror the final partition #4 to the new
disk it gives me an error. Why is this happening? I have been looking around
and can not seem to find anything on this problem.
The Error is:
Requested Operation is not supported.
Is there a limmitation on how many partitions can be mirrored that I am
unaware of? Or does this have to do with the fact that I am attempting to
mirror multiple partitions from multiple disks??
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
