My Toshiba e775 has PPC 2003 (not "second edition" ). I'm trying to
configure it to connect to a WPA (w/shared key) encrypted wireless
network, but can't find a way to make it work. In reading ng's it
appears that WPA capability is not built in to my unit. Is there
software I can get to acquire this capability? Any other approaches
(hacks, etc)?

Hello,

I'm not 100% sure on this so do some googling to verify...

I believe that a WPA ability would have to be something that you download
from the OEM (Toshiba). I have not found/seen an add-on to allow this from
a 3rd party.

Regards,

Odyssey (Funk Software) will sell you something
that should work very well. Is that an e755?
It may be cheaper to sell the Toshiba and get
a Dell x50, which comes with the Funk software.
