I have the original Navman 3 GPS software from a GPS unit that got stolen
from my vehicle. As I have a Ipaq 4150 is it possible to load this software
on the unit ?
I tried and it says unregistered hardware after communicating with the
navman server.

I'd say you's have to contact Navman directly.
They obviously have the hardware (now stolen) linked to the software
reg. details in their server which, of course, won't match with your
'new' hardware.
You'll have to try your luck sweet-talking them to change their database
details to accommodate your iPaq.

Hi Chris,
thanks, already been down that option. As I first bought the unit off ebay,
I had to get them to re-register my details.
So avoiding having to call them 6 months down the track and begging for the
change yet again.
Mind you the first time was a song and dance, and they made me jump through
hoops of fire just about.
Why is it not easier ???
They probably think I am a dealer for Navman devices on the blackmarket ..
