Drivers for 7600GT

I got every other game working except one. The game tells me that i need a graphics driver that supports OpenGl 1.3. I have tried the 97.31 and the 97.34 but they dont help, I get the same error message

It happens to The Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay and i get the error when i try to start the game.

Downloaded the patches, both of em the US and EU version, all i get is an error when i try to install the patches.

Well, chances are it's the game and not your video card. Try getting in contact with whoever makes the game and tell them your problem.

Chronicals of Riddick will not run on newer Nvideo cards without the latest patches, just install them and it will be fine.

EDIT:

Make sure you are not using any cracked files etc, the patches require a proper version of the game to install.

The problem is the game... The game searches explicitely for OpenGL 1.3 support, but your card says 2.0.

Over at GameCopyWorld there is a patch especially for NVIDIA cards that overcomes the game's limitation, if you can't get the official patches to work.
