I just built a comp for my brother who sat with me and helped me pick out the parts on newegg. He kind of rushed me through everything, so I didn't get to fully scrutinize everything. Anyway, I bought the Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard and the Patriot Extreme Performance PC2 6400 dual channel memory sticks.

The comp is built and runs fine as far as I can tell. What concerns me is that I just discovered that the supported memory voltage for the board is 1.8v - 1.9v and the Patriot memory sticks have 2.2v listed as there voltage. Will this be a problem down the road or am I being neurotic?

Here is what was listed on the Intel Site:

The board has four DIMM sockets and support the following memory features:

1.8 V and 1.9 V DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs
Unbuffered, single-sided or double-sided DIMMs with the following restriction:
Double-sided DIMMs with x16 organization are not supported.
8 GB maximum total system memory
Minimum total system memory: 128 MB
ECC DIMMs and Non-ECC DIMMs
Serial Presence Detect
DDR2 800, DDR2 667, and DDR2 533 MHz SDRAM DIMMs
