Hello,

I just reformated, and I have been experiancing some LAN/netoworking issues. I am using a Biostar TForce 6100-939 Motheboard. The LAN driver is not working, when I plug in and out the ethernet cable it doesn't notice it.. Like usually it will say "The cable has been unplugged" or something.. But it doesn't even acknowledge that. I am running Windows XP Home.

Also, the disk is a HP system restore disk, but it installs windows fine. Could there still be a problem with using that disk on a different computer rather then an HP?

If anyone could help or leave some ideas as how to fix this.

Thanks,

Bvlaar

Could there be? Yes, since it will be installing the drivers for the motherboard for which it is the "restore" disk.

Look in Device Manager if there is a conflict or problem.
You may have to manually install the drivers for your network card.
