Anyone know of ANY external wireless antenna that can be used with a TOSHIBA laptop to extend reception range and strength? Looking for a high gain type omni directional and not too expensive and which can be taken when traveling. Where would the antenna connect on the laptop?

Thanks!

Sorry, but most laptops don't have connections for an external antenna.

You could try a PCMCIA Add in card, but will cost more than just an antenna. The folks at Seattle Wireless may be a good place to start.

Maybe you can search the Internet for places where you can buy external antennas, which is gonna be plugged into the USB-port. (Don't know if this is possible...).
