More Information

Hello folks,

As the topic states this is my first build and my first overclock and im nervous as hell! It's currently at 2997MHz 333x9 1.33v 23C Idle / 50C Full load with Smart fan on (orthos Small FFTs - Stress CPU) Ram is at 333MHz 4 4 4 12 Timings 1.9v and im flapping big time the temps very low as far as i can tell. But i'm truely scared that its going to pop at some point  How will this overclock at these timings (CPU&Ram) at these temps effect overall life expectency for this system. I mean it seems to be running perfectly on orthos and memtest86+ but im a newb! And I cant help flapping

Phew, Deep Breath. Please tell me what you think about this overclock and how it will effect overall longivity.

Thanks

Viceras

Viceras, 23C Idle / 50C Full load with Smart fan on (orthos Small FFTs - Stress CPU) isn't "full load", and more info is needed in order to accurately determine your place on the temp scale. Check out the following Sticky for info regarding appropriate temps:

Hope this helps,
