Thank You Dranzer More about : itanium x86 PC_Side_Line March 4, 2007 2:27:22 PM Itanium is meant to be used in Server machines for businesses, while x86 has become the cpu for home users. x86 was looked upon by Intel as a non-business cpu because it has no tru full power business calculating basis. but that's Intel's opinion. x86 is good enough for small businesses and has become the best economical class of cpus for moderately spending buyers. Therefore, it is in the majority of pcs out there. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
