I have an AMD Athlonn 64 X2 5200+ and DDR2-800 RAM. I want to overclock both my RAM and my CPU as far as I can stably. I also want to overclock my video card but I will ask about that later. Is there anyone who can give me some help overlocking? I have looked all over at guides and tutorials and everything but nothing helps. Whenever I have a problem I post here and somebody is always very helpful.

probably one of the reasons nobody is responding is because you didnt take the time to include how far you want to overclock, what youve done so far to attempt overclocking, what youve managed to overclock to and what problems you are having. Your post is very vague so anyone with intentions to help you cannot because they don't know anything. You should also post your system specs

He's right. Also, if your RAM is value ram, that can make a big difference. We need to know specifics. Here's a template:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
MSI K9A Platinum Socket AM2 (Upgrading to a 690 Chipset soon)
OCZ 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
DIAMOND 256MB Radeon X1950XT
CORSAIR 520W PSU
4 SATA Hard Drives (RAID 0) (Upgrading soon to 4 Raptors if funds are available )
Scythe Infinity

I want to overclock my 5200+ to 3GHz
I want to overclock my RAM as far as I can stably
And I want to overclock my video card as far as is practical (any suggestions?)

Ok, we'll start with the video card first. Get a program like RivaTuner. Overclock in small several Mhz increments. When you get artifacts, bump your overclock down a little and you will then have your highest stable overclock.

As for processor, I'd luck up a guide if I were you, it can really help a lot. Go ahead and ask any questions about overclocking. As you overclock your processor, your RAM will overclock too.

Complete system specs would help enormously in deciding how best to oc.
