When I attempt to access a fileshare on my server at home using the file
browser on my PPC, it fails with an error indicating that the server is not
found OR that I do not have permission to access it.

My PPC is an Ipaq 4705 running Windows Mobile 2003.

I have a wireless network using a linksys router with the router hosting
DHCP and dealing with wireless security (WEP).

My server is a Windows 2003 server and is the only server in my home. It is
the PDC of my home domain. The file share I'm serving out of my server has
standard settings.

My pocket PC can access the fileshare on my laptop on my home network (this
is also the laptop that my PPC has a partnership with).

Any comments/suggestions as to how to address this issue would be great.

I can't get into anything locally or over a vpn to my 2003 server.

I'm running 2003 server (stand alone, no domain controller). I've tried both
SMB and Netbios fileshares.

You got further than me. I can't even access my laptop I'm partnered with.

Sorry I'm clueless, just sharing the frustration. I can't even count the
hours I've spent on this. I'm currently enjoying some beers, so my thoughts
are limited. Perhaps we can start a dialog and get the bottom of it over the
coming weeks.

My MAIN problem seems to be a networking issue. I haven't even gotten to an
authentication dialog yet.
