There seems to be a lot of wireless networks near mine and I think they are slowing mine down. Are there any ways to decrease interference from the other networks? Or am I just doomed to get my 2.4 mbps throughput on a G network? Thanks

P.S. Lining my walls with aluminum foil is not an option

 One more specimen for sampling, Subcommander.

Start with a site scan and determine the channels the nearby networks are using. If they are NOT using one of the primary channels (1, 6, or 11), use that.

If they are present on all 3 channels, select the channel where the other networks are the weakest in signal strength in every place you have wireless devices (router, access points, computers, game consoles, etc.)
