Well, at the moment im running a 450W psu that came with my case (unbranded) it has a total of 31 amps (dual rail).
Thing is, i dont think that it will handle any more components, or even a 8800GTX for that matter.
So im thinking of upgrading the PSU, just to be on the safe side. Now i was checking out the 550W version of the True Power Trio range of PSU's, and im starting to think that its a better buy than the 650W version. The difference between the two PSUs is that the 550w version has one less amp per rail - which is really not much!
FWIW, if there's a CompU$A near you, they have it on sale this week. Initial price is about $10 higher (you need to figure the tax vs. shipping thing), but they have a $30 rebate also. Here's a link:
