Hello.

I have a home network using an Edimax router 6104K. The access to the other stations works fine in all four computers BUT ONE. There is one computer which encounter problems. When you want to see all the other stations in the Workgroup (via "Network Connections" ) the computer gets stuck. When you try to access a station by entering the desired computer name (\\[NAME]) it is also impossible - you get an error message which says that the address might be incorrect. The only way to access another computer is by entering it's local IP address (192.168.2.XXX).

Obviously this is wrong and the work in network shouldn't be like that. I never got to understand why it's happening and how to solve it. None of the other computers encountered this problem, so the problem occurs particularly in that computer. OS: XP.

Any ideas?

Same workgroup name? Any firewalls running? XP Pro or Home?
