The other day, I picked up the phone to make a call and the computer was
"talking". No other devices are hooked to the phone line. It seems the
computer dialed out on its own. I'm running Win XP and Mcafee firewall. I
checked the firewall for programs that have internet access and I found
Kontiki. The only other programs that have access are all Microsoft and
McAfee. I blocked Kontiki. Could Kontiki have cause this?
Thanks in advance
Bill

Whenever you get something like this you research it in Google. I did it for
you this time. Go here http://www.kontiki.com/index.html
You will see that Time Warner Cable is one of there customers. It may be
that they are pushing it out to their cable subscribers.
