Didn't NBC delay the HIDEF broadcasts about 24 hours?

So I was expecting some final broadcasts on Monday.

What happened?

I agree with most everything you say except for the reality of that damn 24
hour delay. If the HDTV was simulcast with the NTSC coverage, most of the
complaints you hear here would go away.

Agreed. I would have liked same day coverage. Waiting 24+ hours to see
events was the most annoying part.

Well would you rather have to wait 24 hours... or not have any at all?
Lets be thankful we got HD coverage of the Olympics period and quit
whining about it. I can understand being upset over major technical
glitches,
bad 5.1 mixes, and the same Sony ad - that upset me too. But I'm happy
to have gotten to see the Olympics in HD. :-)
