is a new computer not just a software upgrade. i want to transfer the
windows 2000 AD to the new windows 2003 server. what else should i do
besides these steps?
Join the windows 2003 to the 2000 domain.
run adprep for the forest and domain on the windows 2000 computer
make the windows 2003 an additial domain controler
make the windows 2003 a global catolog
what is is nessisary for me to turn off my old windows 2000 server for ever?
do i have to instigate a global catolog sync or will it do this automaticly?
