RAM timings on DG965wh

I have a DG965wh Intel board and Mushkin DDR2 PC6400 800mhz ram 5-5-5-12. This board is very picky so i was pleased that this booted up nicely. However, My timings are at 5-5-5-18. Works great, but should i put that 18 at 12 manually in the bios? I was about to do it was then i was like hmm ill ask, lol. How much of a dif will that make? I Dont know a ton about timings and latencies and such.
