I have a Windows 2000 Small Buisiness Server where the system drive is
running out of space. I have purchased a new drive to take it's place but do
not know how to copy all of the files such that security information etc. is
in tact (file shares, user accounts etc.) and make the new drive bootable. I
could use some suggestions, thanks.

The only MS way to do this is would be a full backup (system state
included) and then restore to the new drive.

However, a faster way might be to take an image of the exsisting drive, and
move it over to the new drive with 3rd party imaging software.

Are you limited by drive size or by partition size? It is possible to
extend a partition with diskpart.exe if you are limited by partition size.

I hope this helps.

How big is your system partition, & what's on it? Perhaps you can just move
data (exchange, user data, etc)
