Thought I'd do a little community service [bored and out of beer ] as many people are a bit confused about how memory effects performance using certain resolutions and games among the 8800 line. This should give you a grand idea about which current card is right for you.
We know that larger memory sizes offer better performance with higher resolutions and dense graphical games - the question is, do you need it? You be the judge.
Nice Compilation we might have to cut off your beer supply so we can get more of this sorta thing
But yeah unless your running a resolution>1280x1024 then the 320mb should suffice. Once you get higher reso's with high textures and lot's of AA then more memory is a must.
IMO getting an Oc'd 320mb would be better off than getting a stock 640mb 8800gts for a 19" monitor.
Very nice.I would expect that some serious time went into the finding of all these banch marks.Especially coming from the various manufacturers as it was shown.Very well done sir.And on behalf of all posters here,I thank you.

Kinda makes me wish I would have gotten the x1950xt instead of the Pro. I didn't realize the difference was that noticeable. (The had an open box xt for 5 bucks more then my pro)
Careful careful buying an open box vga....my buddy has got ganked twice(aparently he didnt learn his lesson the first time)the 320 mb 8800 sounds like the ticket tho gl.
