So, I was thinking of building a HTPC. I want to use it as a DVR and pipe all my media through it.

Some major problems became apparent...

There would be no way to get HD sound (DTS-HD Master Audio for example) out of the PC.

This type of audio only goes over HDMI (why the heck it can't go over Optical I'll never know). Currently no video cards "connect" to the sound card to deliver sound over their HDMI port.

HDMI 1.3? Not yet.

HD Tuner Cards? I've yet to find one that says anything about HDCP.

Is there anything out there rated for 1080p? Dual Tuner?
