I'm searching all over tonight for drivers for this drive. I am wondering if this drive is compatible with Windows Vista 64 Bit, but I've been searching for a couple of hours now and can't come up with anything. I've went to about 2 or 3 of NEC's website and can't find a thing.

I would appreciate any help at all.

Here's a link to the drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827152076

You should not need any drivers. They are included with Windows.

I don't know if this still matters or not, but I am looking for the same. I found some european firmware updates to take it from 1.01 to 1.02, but that didn't solve my problem either. It will read disks, but not write disks or play DVD's (although it WILL still access the disk's info and files).

Since you wrote your post a little bit ago, did you find anything??? I'm using Win XP BTW.
