50" HD/LCD/RPTV Sony vs Panasonic vs Samsung

Hi,

Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE620 50" vs Panasonic PT50DL54 50" Digital
Widescreen DLP HDTV vs Samsung 5063

I'm thinking of buying one of the TVs above;

The Sony is about $500 US cheaper than any of the other 2 with the
stand included; the Panasonic and Samsung are about the same in terms
of price.

Quality wise I can't judge between them because the setup in the
stores are so poor (too much contrast for the DLPs, bad HDTV source
etc).

Please let me know what your opinion is.

The picture on the Sony is hands down better than the Panasonic. I spent a
whole day comparing before I bought.

> The DLP will give you better contrast than LCD but not by much. To
my eye the LCD is less forgiving on analog broadcasts less artifacting.
I have heard storys about service issues with the Samsung as well.
