The picture on the Sony is hands down better than the Panasonic. I spent a
whole day comparing before I bought.

The Sony is chaper also because they have new models coming out this month.

my eye the LCD is less forgiving on analog broadcasts less artifacting.
I have heard storys about service issues with the Samsung as well.
