Hi all,
First of all to those who do not know what VNC software can do:
If you run a VNC server on your PC (or MAC) and have a VNC
client on your PPC or Smartphone you can view your PC desktop
and have mouse and keyboard control of your PC from your
mobile device.
This works locally over Bluetooth or WiFi or remotely over
GPRS or CDMA - in fact if you have a local BT or WiFi connection
to a PC that is internet connected you can connect that way to a
PC running a VNC server elsewhere on the internet.
We have VNC clients available for both the PPCs/PPC phones and
Smartphones - PTvncGPRS for QVGA PPCs, PTvncHiRes for VGA PPCs
and PTvncS for Samartphones.
To those of you already using our PTvnc software:
Please get back to us with suggestions for improvements to
PTvncGPRS, PTvncHiRes and PTvncS - current improvements
already planned are:
1. On the PPCs, optionally allow the stylus to be used directly as the
server's left-mouse-button.
2. For devices with hardware keyboards allow them to input this way.
3. Change the client scaling to allow many more viewing scales.
4. On the Smartphones, add the option to view the screen sideways.
As to suggestions, please send them to:
