I will be doing my first OC this week on my new system. I have been looking around for a comprehensive guide to OC the e4300 but haven't found anything specific to my situation despite the popularity of the components. I know about wusy's guide, and even though he didn't write it for the e4300, does it still apply? I will be using the stock cooling and want a 24/7 stable cpu, not neccessarily the highest clock speed. Thanks for the help, here are my specs:

Intel E4300
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Rev. 3.3
Superclocked 8800gts 320mb
WD 250gb SE16
LG DVD Burner
NeoHE 550w
Corsair 2gb ddr2-667
Antec slk3000b case

I think a lot of people are entering overclocking with this new CPU and would benefit from an understandable tutorial.

Thanks :!:

I wish I could provide help. I can only provide general guidance because I use a much more complicated board that labels things very differently. Instead of having 4 voltage options, I have 30.

So I can provide a general tutorial (i.e. first try this, next blah blah) but as for specific settings, I am worthless lol.

Wusy's guide still applies as the E4300 is still in the same family as the 6 series, it is just a new child of the Core micro-architecture.

Start with wusy's guide and then update us and maybe I can be more help. :D
